We had the pleasure of capturing the moments of Yue and Bing's big day as they chose the perfect location to cement their commitment in front of family and friends.
The Ceremony and Infusing Chinese Tradition
The bride walked down the aisle, which was a stunning open garden with canopy trees, with both her mom and dad; two people she had not seen in three years. What a special time to come together and witness their daughter's love and a new chapter of their lives.
The couple exchanged vows under a beautiful floral arch adorned with red and pink roses reading their vows from special cards they had made.
As a nod to Chinese customs, the tea ceremony took place following the ceremony. As the newlyweds embark on this beautiful journey together, the tea ceremony serves as a symbolic gesture of respect, gratitude, and unity. The act of serving and receiving tea from the couple is not just a cultural ritual but a heartfelt expression of honor and appreciation towards the parents and elders who have played pivotal roles in the lives of the bride and groom. Red envelopes, known as "hongbao," were exchanged with their parents, offering blessings and good wishes.
The Details and Reception
Choosing the Bella Rose Estates was just the beginning of the exquisite details Yue and Bing selected for their wedding day. Starting with Bing's dress; an elegant plunging neckline with intricate beaded floral details with a long train matched to a simple and stunning headpiece. The groom, in a dark navy suit with gold cufflinks, a color that represents wealth and prosperity in Chinese tradition.
The subtle red and pink roses, the wedding cake the black tuxes for the groomsmen, and the champagne dresses for the bridesmaids were executed perfectly for the perfect day.
